Jana Kramer bio
Jana Kramer became famous on television, where she played Alex in One Tree Hill's last three seasons. The series featured her first releases as country music which helped her debut album to the Billboard 200 to the Top 20. Thirty One, her follow-up album released in 2015, made it to in the Top Ten. Her decade was rounded out by appearances in Dancing with the Stars. In 2021, the album The Doubting Voices made its debut. Jana Rae Kramer was born and raised within Rochester Hills Michigan. She grew up listening to the country genre, and later went on to explore a career in recording. But, she first made an acting debut when she was a teenager in 2002's indie horror movie Dead/Undead. Guest spots in shows like All My Children and CSI: NY followed over the following years, until she landed the part in Noelle Davenport on NBC's Friday Night Lights during the show's second season from 2007 to 2008. Kramer then appeared as Portia Ranson on 90210 from 2008 to 2009, and as Brooke Manning in Entourage in 2009. She became a part of the cast on CW One Tree Hill in 2009 in the role of Alex Dupre, and she continued to appear until the finale in 2012, part way through. Jana Kramer During her run on the show Kramer has signed a record deal to Elektra Records and debuted the contemporary love song for country music I Won't Stop on a 2011 episode of One Tree Hill. It was later included as a track on Jana Kramer, her debut album released in 2012. The track landed in the Top Five of the Billboard Top Country Albums chart. Focusing on her music career thereafter without retiring from acting she appeared in films such as Heart of the Country 2013 and Country Crush 2016 that would appeal to her music fanbase. In October 2015, Kramer dropped her debut album Thirty One from Warner Music Nashville. Thanks to The Top Five country hit I Got the Boy and a duet with Steven Tyler of Aerosmith it was even more successful, achieving number three on the country albums chart and number ten on the Billboard 200. Her two-month appearance on the Dancing with the Stars 23rd season ended in her placing 4th. The same year she was also a part of an adult-oriented hit song featuring"Feels Like Christmas featuring Straight No Chaser.
